Cardinal Burns - Vomit Cop

I always get that little excited stomach flip when I open up my email and it says 1 new message from e4ers admin! I rush straight to the e4ers website (as bloody iphones won't allow me to view all of the content) and see that purple and white bubble saying messages 1.

Then I rush to twitter, send out a message to alert the gang (even though I'm sure they already know of the exciting news) then flip back to watch the clip that we have been sent.

Todays little treat was a preview of the new show that is coming to e4 in March. It's a show called Cardinal Burns which I posted about in my last blog.

So answer me this....Do you enjoy watching people being sick? Being sick on dead bodies even? Falling over in their own sick? And being sick on another person? Whatever, whether you do or you don't just click on the link below and put in the password Cardinalburns

It's pretty gross but like Jeremy Kyle it's one of those shows that you can't not watch. Plus it's a preview so you'll get that warm fuzzy feeling in your belly of being special!

So here it is guys....ENJOY

Cardinal Burns

Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns, AKA comedy duo Cardinal Burns have been commissioned to bring a six-part series to our favourite tele box channel, E4!

The guys are well known on the stand-up circuit and their new show will follow their characters and "cartoonish" writing.

I've been watching some of their stuff on youtube and had a special preview from the guys at E4 that I want to share with you (for your eyes). Let me know what you think!

Click on the link below and then stick the password in. Leave a comment too!

The Woman in Black

So last night I went to see The Woman in Black, which was hyped up to be “The horror movie of the year” (I’m not quite sure how this statement works as it’s only Feb).

As an avid horror/paranormal sub-genre fan I was eager for this film to be a winner, to be the one film that would actually scare me into sleepless nights with the light on, hiding under the duvet. This did not happen.

I thought the storyline, the actors, the production and the simplicity of it all were fantastic. There were no special effects, just good old fashioned spookiness, things that go bump in the night, creepy kids and the stereotypical haunted house. It all worked well together, pretty much flawlessly, however it was too predictable.

I knew what would happen before it did. I knew where the story was going without having read the book. I knew when the girls behind me would be screaming. I knew once it had started, that I would be falling asleep straight away that night (with the light off).

I’m not regretting seeing it, as I wasn’t bored at any point throughout the film. Like I said before, the characters and plot kept my attention. I just wish it had that little something extra that would make it really special.

If you scare easily then I would recommend this film to you. If like me, you need something that really hits you hard, then this is probably too tame. I’m still hunting for that perfect horror!!

The Woman In Black

Out on February 10th and starring everyones favourite wizard, Daniel Radcliffe, The Woman In Black looks set to be a huge hit!

Daniel plays a young lawyer (Arthur Kipps) who travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman terrorizing the locals.

OoOoOoOoO it looks scary doesn't it?! Lets hope it is though. Too many films show the 'best bits' in the trailers but the actual film disappoints!

I've stuck the trailer in anyway (for your eyes) and will review the film as soon as I've seen it!

The Midnight Beast

Everyone’s favourite tele-box channel E4 have gone and grabbed themselves three young chappies to entertain the nation this year!

The Midnight Beast (aka Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne), are a youtube sensation, with over 40 million views and a MAHOOSIVE Facebook and twitter fanbase. The three members are performing arts students who write and record parodies like the famous cover of Kesha’s Tik Tok.

So like I said, E4 has taken them in and will be showing a new series in which we will follow a fictionalized version of the band members as they attempt to become successful musicians. Sounds good eh?

If you don’t know who the Midnight Beast are, then there’s a video below for your eyes. Also if you’re a Harry Potter fan (of course you are!!) then take a look at Wands!

Hopefully there will be more info on the tele-box series soon!
